Who is this course for?

This course is intended for individuals who may have to deal with people who are aggressive, cynical or disruptive.

Course Content:

This two-day interactive course enables the individual to proactively manage difficult people and situations at work, and use preventative techniques to reduce the possibility of conflict in the workplace. This course can be offered as a level 2 National Award in Conflict Management.

The modules for this course are:

• Introduction
• Preventing Conflict
• Managing Conflict
• Learn from Conflict

Assessment and certification

Learners will have both a written and practical assessment. On completion of the training, you will receive a nationally recognised conflict management award, accredited through the National College Network (NOCN). It is fully compliant with the SIA and NHS SMS (Security Management Service) occupational standards.
