About Us

a1 Training was established in 2005, and is part of a1 Security Home Counties (UK) Ltd, which is a Blue_training_Roomprivately owned company established in 1995. a1 Training was originally created to train the Security Officers of a1 Security to ensure they complied with the new Private Security Industry Act 2001, which came into force in 2006.

Due to the success of a1 Training within the Security sector we have now expanded into other sectors including corporate training for topics like first aid, fire wardens/marshaling, conflict management  and customer service.. We are an accredited  HABC  approved Training Centre and in 2009, were accredited by the BSI BS EN ISO 9000:2008 for training.

All a1 trainer's are trained professionals who have the relevant knowledge and qualifications to deliver first class training. They are all members of the IfL (Institute for Learning) and able to train nationally. a1 Training works very closely with local colleges to develop and deliver training courses for their students.
